Well, we made it. Our flight from Vancouver to Toronto was uneventful, then on to the next flight. There was a huge but short storm over the airport that put our flight two hours behind. It also delayed Chad's flight and it looked like his planes would miss the flight to Zurich. The pilot announced that we would take off in ten minuets, after the final freight had been loaded, yup, Chad's planes, Yahoo.
We splurged for premium economy seats, worth every penny. The flight was good, the 787 is  very nice plane. We landed in Zurich at 11:30 time, 8:30 am local time, hum, I think we missed a nights sleep. By the time we picked up rental cars and transported all the plane boxes, luggage and people, we decided to head out for supplies, could not find any kind of store that sold fold up lawn chairs. We did manage to get the SIM cards for the phones and iPad though.
Down the side alley beside the hotel is a small Pizza Italian restaurant, the group all had lunch there, Pat and I went there for supper as well, a couple of glasses of wine and pizza. We had been forcing ourselves to stay awake to try to get used to local time, but now it is time for sleep.
The hotel room is small but new and clean, it be are home for the next two weeks. I have yet to download my photos, I will add some latter.
