Final day of the WC

Tomorrow is the final day of competition, it is now down to the ten best F3A pilots in the world. Some awesome flying, Chad Northeast, our best pilot ended up 21st. Canada as a team ended up 10th out of 34 countries, the skill of these guys just gets better and better. Tomorrow we will go watch some of the flights, take in the banquet and that will wrap up our competition part of the trip.

Our rental car will go back and we will share a car with Dave and Kelly for the next week. We plan to  travel to six countries in all, I will try to send a lot of info on this part of our trip (now that I finally got blogging to work)

So far every one we have met has been very friendly, most go out of their way to help you out. The language barrier has not been a problem. Once you get used to the highway signage, driving here has not been a problem.  GPS's are almost a must as I have found it hard to find street names at the speeds they like to travel. It is also very clean, although there are ten times the smokers here than at home. They do not have the same no smoking laws as us either, so you have to pick where you sit in restaurants.

Sunday we will head for Liechtenstein, Austria and Germany, where we hope to do some caching and lots of sightseeing. More later.
